What does KORU stand for?

We live in a world in which we use more than the earth can replenish. Our consumption patterns and the way in which value chains are organised damage nature. This leads to drastic consequences, such as climate change, more extreme weather, milder winters and wetter summers. The urgency for change is clear, but how do you take that first step?

The meaning of KORU

The word KORU comes from the Maori language and means ‘continuous renewal’. This renewal is at the heart of our mission. On the one hand, we focus on improving existing – often still harmful – production and consumption models. On the other hand, we are committed to renewing value chains and strengthening cooperation within those chains. This forms the foundation on which KORU Consulting is built.
