KORU assisted an energy company in the Randstad conurbation with the implementation of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) guidelines. The process was designed in carefully structured phases to ensure both compliance and strategic embedding.
Phasing of the Process

Step 2: Stakeholder dialogues
Interactive sessions with internal and external stakeholders were organised and supervised. The most important themes for reporting were discussed together, including arguments for why topics should or should not be included. Step 3: Double Materiality Analysis
The insights from the stakeholder dialogues were translated into scores (from 1 to 5) within a double materiality analysis. Step 4: Measuring and Defining Indicators
We defined concrete KPIs for both environmental and social impact and provided a measurement structure that is in line with CSRD requirements.

Step 5: Reporting and Auditable Documents
The final phase consisted of preparing the reports and making all documents auditable so that they could be easily assessed by an accountant for a formal auditor’s report.
